TURIYA BRUCE CURRICULUM VITAE BACKGROUNDTuriya knew, at at six, that art could move people. She was encouraged by a few artists that she had met, in childhood and adolescence, to study and practise as much as possible. This lit a flame inside her heart. Turiya left a lucrative design career to travel to England and Europe, gallery hopping, before settling in Florence Italy, where she studied and taught for several months. She has had her own studio and the past 13 years where she has given hereself full creative play and experimentation. EDUCATION 1977/1978
